| I have been a professional dancer for most of my life, performing in over 10 major musicals and touring around Australia, New Zealand and Asia. Quite early in my career I found myself with a debilitating back injury. After numerous therapists my Mum actually suggested Pilates. So I started Pilates one on one sessions with a wonderful teacher who brought my young body to a place that was strong and flexible. Ever since that major physical recovery I have been passionate about teaching others that they can change how they feel and how they look.ZUMBA FITNESS is another fantastic way to keep yourself feeling good and looking good. I had spent a little bit of time out of the dance industry and found myself doing a desk job that made me feel so tired I felt like I couldn’t fit exercise in. In fact EXERCISE and AEROBIC exercise, was just what I needed – I was feeling unmotivated and …low – things I hadn’t ever really felt in my life before when I had been very active dancing.
Then one of my favourite friends suggested ZUMBA FITNESS. I can’t explain how good it was to finally do a fun class with great music that challenged my fitness enough to leave me tingling with endorphins for at least an hour after class. I was back! I felt like me again: active, excited, hopeful.If you relate to any of this: get yourself along to a ZUMBA FITNESS class ASAP! My classes are fun – absolutely no pressure.
